Saturday’s rainfall didn’t stop Prime Minister Antonis Samaras from visiting a New Democracy campaign kiosk in Syntagma square earlier in the day, as a boost — televised, no less — served to boost morale of party supporters, amid polls showing him trailing SYRIZA.

Samaras didn’t miss the opportunity to “urge his people on, stressing that the large percentage of undecided voters might prove to be a turning point”.
