Leventis: Tsipras has become a PASOK fan

“I wait for the election of the new president of New Democracy so as to meet him and Tsipras and suggest them to form a national unity government” he said

The president of Union of Centrist Vasilis Leventis insists on the solution of a national unity government despite the fact that Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had described this kind of discussion as funny in an interview.

Mr. Leventis also said that Alexis Tsipras has become “a PASOK fan” because it has fully incorporated the logic of keeping the power no matter the cost.

“It wasn’t SYRIZA that absorbed PASOK but the other way around. The Prime Minister is not left-wing but PASOK, since he thinks that the discussion about a national unity government is funny” Mr. Leventis said.

He also reiterated that the reason Alexis Tsipras disclaims the national unity government is for the hotheads and ensconced of PASOK system who went to SYRZIA. “He went to Europe, he knows that he wants a national unity government, he cannot say such things,” Mr. Leventis.

Speaking to private TV channel MEGA he said “I wait for the election of the new president of New Democracy so as to meet him and Tsipras and suggest them to form a national unity government”.
