In addition to greeting members of the Orthodox Christian flock, His Eminence will hold meetings with religious and state leaders. The Greek Orthodox faithful of Iceland are under the jurisdiction and the pastoral care of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Sweden and All Scandinavia – an Archdiocese of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople composed of four nations: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.
