Mitsotakis: Creation of new jobs is the most urgent priority

“I do not have to offer any fake hopes or to give money that doesn’t exist”, he said

“The country is heading towards diversion”, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in his speech on Saturday evening at the 81st Thessaloniki International Fair. He added that the citizens should take control over the situation. He started his speech saying that he promises to get the country out of this crisis and that he knows he is talking to people who are deeply disappointed from a ruthless demagogy.

He also talked about unemployment, saying that “it is only the social economy of the country that can produce wealth, attract investments and create new jobs”.
“The roadmap for the new start of the economy has at its epicenter new jobs. If there is any urgent priority for Greek economy is the creation of new job opportunities. An unemployment reduction will come through new jobs in the private sector that will come from new investments. Private investments and not state recruitments. Jobs for the people and not for the Party and its friends”, he added.
About ENFIA, he said that there will be a 30% -in total- reduction in two years, 20% the first and 10% the second year and about the business tax rate, he will reduce it to 20% in two years (νος ιτ ις 29%). As for the Value Added Tax (FPA) he will establish two factors, one for 11% and one for 22%.
