At its peak the Roman Empire covered nearly the whole of the European continent and vast regions in north Africa and the middle east. But there was one place they never st foot in. No matter how much they tried they were unable to subdue its tribes. That area started in the British isles and was where Emperor Hadrian built the walls to separate the civilised world from the barbarians. These barbarians were the Picts, who lived in modern day northern Scotland. Meet their fierce descendants, a band called Clanadonia. They are Scotland’s hardest working tribal drums and pipe band and their members have been entertaining for over 20 years with countless credits in stage, screen, radio and TV. Their high energy blend of tribal rhythms, bagpipes and tartan clad mayhem has wowed audiences across the globe.
