A manhunt across France has been unleashed by French authorities in order to find Hayat Boumedienne, the woman believed to be Amedy Coulibaly’s partner, who in turn is the hostage-taker who shot down four hostages in the jewish grocery store in Paris, then was killed by police fire.
The 26 year old Hayat is the fourth suspect linked to the terrorist attack against Charlie Hebdo. She was rumored to be in the grocery store, but was not discovered by police when they assaulted the building.
There are two scenarios. Either the 26 year old French woman managed to escape, or she wasn’t in the grocery store to begin with.
Authorities, after not being able to find her shortly after the hostage situation had ended, released her picture to the media.
According to police officials, the 26 year old and her partner had killed a woman police officer in Montrouge two days ago.
According to CNN, Coulibaly and Boumedienne lived together. French newspaper “Le Monde” published several photographs of the two of them. They are depicted holding a weapon and a crossbow in several of those.
According to Le Monde, and after the privacy of her calls has been lifted by authorities, Boumedienne had exchanged more than 500 calls with one of the Kouachi brothers’ partners.
This evidence points to a continuous and persistent cooperation between the two couples.
