The Greek government plans to submit on Friday amendments to Tsakalotos-Katrougalos bill reducing even more the tax-free threshold for employees and pensioners, according to information.
The amendment will provide a 8,900 euros tax-free threshold, even though Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos had stated a month ago that he will not submit any bill which would provide tax-free threshold below 9,100 euros.
According to information, apart from the new tax rate and tax-free threshold, other measures will also be presented, such as VAT hike up to 24%, increase in excise taxes on fuel, fee on pay TV and Internet use and special fee on hotel stay.
