This tiny Byzantine church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary Theotokos, is perched on the top of a hill. The vista from there is truly breathtaking. It’s located at a 300 m height with commanding coastal views, both north over Kolymbia and south over Tsambika beach until Lindos, making your climb worthwhile. Legend has it that any woman with problems conceiving can walk barefoot and pray to the Virgin won will offer Her blessings. The Church celebrates on September 7.
