Yannis Moralis emotionally moved he thanked his fellow citizens and said “I want to thank all people of Pireaus, those who voted for us and those who have not voted for us, for their participation in this democratic electoral process. One thing is certain and we know it: We have a lot of work and difficult tasks to perform. But we have a plan and inexhaustible forces and we will succeed,”.

Vangelis Marinakis was also excited and emotionally moved by the election result and spoke to the people gathered to celebrate. Many candidates for municipal advisors of the combination and sportspeople were present.

Mr. Vangelis Marinakis stressed that “I will do whatever is possible, for a better Piraeus and to make all people of Piraeus happy and satisfied. And you should know that we embrace all people of Piraeus. There are no exceptions. We are all together, united for Piraeus,”.

Mr Vassilis Michaloliakos admitted his defeat earlier and said that “I called Mr. Moralis and wished him good luck,”.
