Prisoner exchange between Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists continues

A total of 222 male and female rebels were exchanged for 146 Ukrainian soldiers

Today Kiev and the pro-Russian separatists are expected to continue the massive prisoner exchange that began yesterday under the agreement reached this week at the peace talks in Minsk of Belarus.

Yesterday the two sides proceeded in an exchange of hundreds of prisoners which began in groups of ten, near the town of Kostiantinivka (45 km. north of the rebel stronghold, Donetsk).

A total of 222 male and female rebels were exchanged for 146 Ukrainian soldiers. The prisoners were wearing normal cloths and were holding bags while they were lined up facing the others within 100 meters of each other.
