Centrist Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis appeared very optimistic in his pre-election gathering at Chania, Crete. He said that although the polls want Potami in third place, he is certain that the party would come second, if not first, in the Cretan city.

Furthermore, Mr. Theodorakis supported that collaborations are crucial for the country’s future and criticized Mr. Alexis Tsipras for saying that he would not pursue post-election cooperation with the Potami.

He also stressed that 33% is not enough for a one-party government and added that our country has undergone enough damage from one-party governments.

Among other things, Mr. Theodorakis highlighted the fact that the majority of Greek people prefer a coalition government and further explained that the country’s problems can not be solved by governments with just 33% support. “It takes an alliance of 51%. People want big formations, wide and powerful governments, “concluded Mr. Theodorakis.
