Terrorist Maziotis held in a specially designed cell at Korydallos prison hospital

The doctors agreed to discharge him, as per his request

Terrorist Nikos Maziotis was transferred yesterday to Korydallos prison hospital, where he is being held in a specially designed room with bulletproof windows and security cameras.

Maziotis, who was heavily injured during his arrest, refused to testify to the examining magistrate who visited him at Evangelismos hospital, at around 11.30 in the morning of Saturday.


According to sources, when asked about his profession, Maziotis stated to the magistrate that he is a rebel and refused to provide any other information about himself, including his name. He also demanded to be transferred to Korydallos prison hospital.


Maziotis’ demand was accepted by the doctors after he signed, against their recommendations, a document in which he asked to be discharged from hospital.


Maziotis, who has been convicted to 25 years imprisonment for his participation in the Revolutionary Struggle terrorist group, was lbrought on Saturday afternoon to the prosecutor’s office and  then he was transferred to Korydallos prison, as per his request.
