Archaeologists at the ancient tomb of Amphipolis are cautious concerning comments they make, however paranormalists are full of theories regarding the huge burial mound. Discussions on forums, such as katohika.gr, state that nobody is buried at Amphipolis and the mound is in fact a temple for ritualistic ceremonies in honor of the sun. The site is believed to have been a communication portal to other centers of spiritual energy.

Paranormalist author and researcher Vasilis Vasilakou has conducted research and has concluded that Taleton aliens landed at Mount Taygetos in 25,000 B.C. and they set to work creating a pyramid of worship at Amphipolis that was 150 meters in height of which 125 meters have survived.
