Tracing the Hellenic heritage of Hagia Sophia church

The new interactive production of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, titled “Hagia Sophia: 1,500 Years of History” kicks off on Saturday, December 19. The digital representation of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul was recreated specifically for the Tholos, the foundation’s high tech virtual reality theater.

The latest production brings to life a visit to the Greek Byzantine church of exceptional architecture and beauty as it was in its heyday.

The Hellenic Foundation of Culture (Ellinikos Kosmos) is at 254 Piraeus Street, Tavros, tel 212 254 0000. Tickets are at 9 euros for adults and 7 euros for kids.
