Jonathan Pie is a satirical news reporter character created and played by actor Tom Walker. He is known for his apparent ‘out take’ rants of a conflicted reporter speaking his mind about the state of UK politics. His latest rant (usual foul language included) is a very profound and incisive analysis of the Trump phenomenon. Trump, he argues, is a creation of the left and its incessant labeling of anyone who disagrees with their political viewpoint as racists, misogynists, Islamophobes or xenophobes. Not everyone who supported him was a racist or a misogynist, he says.
