During the meeting between the leader of SYRIZA and Presidents of the Athens Law Association and the assembly of the Presidents of the Law Associations of the country, Mr. Tsipras expressed his belief that the Changes to the Code of Civil Procedure create a major political issue that will dramatically affect the entire Greek society.

Further, Mr. Alexis Tsipras expressed SYRIZA’s full support to the lawyers mobilizations who are fighting to defend the right of every citizen.

Among other, the announcement by SYRIZA states that the party criticizes the government for ignoring provocative scientific objections and collective reactions of the Law Associations and Judicial Associations which unanimously request the removal of these provisions.
