Tsipras Office denies reports he threatened resignation during Hollande meeting

Either me or the agreed measures, said the report by ‘Real News’

The Prime Ministerial Office denied reports by a Sunday newspaper that Greek PM Alexis Tsipras threatened to step down during his meeting with French President Francois Hollande, if a positive review of the Greek program with measures agreed in June 2015 was not reached. According to report by Sunday newspaper ‘Real News’, Tsipras purportedly told Hollande during their meeting: ‘Either the review will be completed with the measures we agreed in summer or I will go’. Maximos Hall was swift in putting the rumours of such a conversation to bed saying that those ‘dreaming of trip ups or resignations should get used to the fact it will not happen’.
