Turkish Airline plane lands safely after declaring emergency

The plane has landed safely in Casablanca.

A Turkish Airlines plane on its way to Sao Paolo from Istanbul declared an emergency earlier on Monday before landing in Casablanca.

Preliminary information indicate that there was a bomb threat on board flight TK15, which led the pilot to request an emergency landing.

The Boeing 777 landed safely in the Moroccan city’s airport.
