UK Elections: Labour-Conservatives neck-to-neck

Who will be the next occupant of 10 Downing Street?

After a drawn-out election campaign, 50,000 polling stations in the United Kingdom opened at 7 a.m. local time and will remain open until 10 p.m. so that British voters can take part in the general elections. Voters around England, except London where there are no local elections, are given at least two ballot papers to fill out.  Some votes have already been cast through postal voting.
