According to local authorities, 33 dead bodies were found at the Donetsk mine after a massive explosion where dozens of miners were trapped.

At the same time many more people are still missing, while fears expressed for their lives.

Officials report that the most possible cause of explosion is a gas leak and that the scenario of  pro-Russian separatists rebels and Ukrainian security forces in this region of eastern Ukraine involvement is invalid.

It is worth mentioning that according to local authorities, the time of explosion, a total of 230 people were inside the mine.
