The USS George H.W. Bush pulled into Marathi Piers, In Souda, Crete in Greece. The George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group will continue to provide support to allies and partners, deter potential threats and conduct strikes against ISIS operators and infrastructure in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. The vessel is escorted by three other US military ships and is expected to dock in Crete for 10 days. Known as the “Avenger”, the carrier holds 85 air-craft and helicopters with a crew of 6,000 members on board.
