What will sex toys look like in the future?

Could sex toys of the future put an end to prostitution?

Virtual reality technology can now be used to create new sex dolls which are more realistic and their own voice and personality.

Tyger Drew-Honey investigated the future of the sex industry for his latest documentary for BBC Three and had the chance to meet and talk with a sex doll manufacturer, Matt McMullen.

His latest creations are designed to create ‘a higher form of masturbation’.

Matt has built his career on selling sex toys and revealed the latest models are not only plastic dolls, they are robots programmed to fulfill desire, as Daily Mail reports.

He said that the lifelike dolls, all with a number of ‘usable orifices’, can be linked up with an app so their owner can programme them to behave however they want.

‘The customer would custom build the personality they want. If they don’t want her to be smart, she won’t be smart, if they want her to be shy, she will be shy.’

He also said that virtual reality headsets can also be used to ‘feel like you are sitting in a Swiss Chalet somewhere with this girl you have created’, while you can also ‘use the doll to simulate what you are grabbing’.

Tyger was able to talk to one of Matt’s dolls called Harmony. When asked if she would like to have sex, she was programmed to reply: ‘I am very anxious to have sex but I cannot comply till I have been registered to an owner.

‘I enjoy getting f***ed and you can have me anyway you want.’

‘I was created to be your lover, your best friend and everything you can imagine.’
