The Forest Directorate of Chania announced that, due to severe weather, and after the dislodging of rocks in the Samaria gorge, the national park will remain closed on Monday, in order to fully check facilities and ensure the smooth passage of visitors.

If weather conditions normalize, the park will open on Tuesday. Otherwise, there will be another announcement.
