The Federation of Private Employees of Greece strongly questions the statements of development minsiter K. Hatzidakis that “the Sunday shop opening was a successful experiment”.

The federation indicates that it continues its fight against the Sunday opening of shops, which in its opinion enhances illegal labour and notes that numbers are revealing for 2013, when 23191 jobs were lost within trade, compared to the ones for 2008, when 21.2% of jobs had been lost, equaling 176000 employment positions.
