After the great success of the return of the country to markets with the new 5-year bond, the Finance Ministry is already preparing a second bond issuance.

Since the demand for the 5-year bond, with which Athens returned to bond markets after four years of exclusions, exceeded all expectations, sources of website Newmoney.gr state that the Finance Ministry is now planning to release a 7-year or 10-year bond.

Already, representatives of the Public Debt Management Agency made the necessary contacts during the OECD conference in Paris. Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras was present in the meetings.
