Equity prices were rising at the opening on Thursday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.73%, standing at 1,240.29 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 12.975 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.82%, and the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 0.94%.
All individual sector indices were moving upwards. The biggest gains were in Media (+3.67%), Insurance (+3.57%), Real Estate (+1.80%) and Food & Beverages (+1.38%).

Of the stocks traded, 46 were up, 12 were down and 10 were unchanged.
