The residents came across a striking but also a disquieting view in the area “Livadakia tou Mpei” at mountain Koziakas in Trikala. The earth opened creating a big hole.

The ground settlement, which created a hole measured 9 metres in diameter and 7 meters in depth, was due to lowering of the calcareous layer of the area.

However, the authorities are on stand by since the hole created is close to E4 path which is used by mountaineers.
