Day by day, the tragedy in Turkey is getting out of hand. Not just because personal stories and dramas behind the 282 miners’ deaths are revealed, but especially because of the unimaginable behavior of Tayyip Erdogan.

The powerful Turkish PM does whatever he can to show the he has no sense of his actions, or that he is totally indifferent to the unspeakable tragedy in Somma. Initially, “sultan” Erdogan described the mine collapse as something “usual” and respectively mentioned examples of accidents in Britain and the U.S., though those happened during the industrial revolution. Afterwards, it was made known that one of his associates beat up a protesting family member of a dead miner for speaking up against Erdogan “The Great”. The revelations continued once more, when the Turkish PM -while his security was trying to help him escape an angry crowd of protesters in Somma- appeared to be hitting someone within the crowd.

Today, Erdogan also seems to be performing a head lock on a man who approached him while the Turkish PM was being removed from the frantic crowd. Besides the “tight hold”, the Turkish leader swore at the protester with heavy insults.

The snapshots are quite enlightening. In the first video, the Turkish PM appears to be grabbing a protester wearing a blue shirt, while shouting at him “why do you run from me, Israeli spawn?” (free-form translation of a Turkish swear word).

In the second video, two men who probably belong to the personal security of Mr. Erdogan are beating the same protester a few seconds after he has been caught by the neck, by the Turkish PM.
