Michael Caine makes yet another brilliant appearance on the silver screen, with his talented performance in a film entitled “Mr. Morgan’s Last Love”.
Mr. Morgan cannot get over his wife’s death. His house in Paris, which had been his country home, will become his permanent place of residence.
The film is based on the book by French actress and author Françoise Dorner “La Douceur Assassine” while director Sandra Nettelbeck wrote the script with Michael Caine in her mind from the beginning.
He, naturally, accepted the role without a second thought and it isn’t hard to understand why: “Mr. Morgan’s Last Love” is one of those films that will certainly bring their leading roles some nominations, if not any awards.
As far as the latter goes, if it isn’t the Oscars, then certainly the Golden Gloves, and judging from the first short clips of the movie, Michael Caine will obviously be a strong candidate.
