Empire magazine published its own ‘top ten’ of the greatest movies of all time, based on a poll of 301 titles, with the participation of more that 250,000 film fans.

At the first place on the list we find the second “Star Wars” film produced titled “The Empire Strikes Back”, which according to most fans is the best of the series. In continuing good news for George Lucas, director of Star Wars series, the original film “A new Hope” came in at #6.

As it often happens with ‘greatest films’ lists, many have expressed doubts regarding the value of the movies featured in the top ten, such as “Jaws” and “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark”.

The 10 greatest movies of all time, according to Empire Magazine, are the following:
