Dozens of doctors have been “arrested” for widespread tax evasion in Athens, Greece. Amongst them been a famous dentist based in the area of Glyfada , Mr. Panagiotis N ,(as revealed on Sunday by the Greek newspaper Proto Thema and protothema.gr)
As it was announced , the Financial Crime Division in Greece in context of the fight against financial crime, including: fraud, disclosure of undeclared income from high income families and the control of unjustified scaling of property, during May of 2014, they held checks and surveys on the ground of the annual program with significant results.

To be exact ,the Regional Directorate of Attica, has discovered a version or download of virtual tax assets, amounting to 214.423 million euro in 19 companies.
A few of the examples that standout will be, from smaller companies like building and facility security, as well as recruitment agency enterprises at the area of Peristeri. In various cases many wholesale trade enterprises in different areas of Athens.
On a bigger scale, a lawyer in Athens, did not issue tax information for the years 2000 – 2012, amounting 1.520.000 euro.
A dentist in the area of Voula , Athens, was charged with the offense of failure to issue tax assets amounting 4,700,000 euro for the years 2002-2008
A tax consultant in Athens, has increased his fortune by 6,229,672 euro, without been able to trace a legitimate source.
Civil servant in Marousi, Athens , as well as been a Physician, has increased his fortune by 1,200,000 euro

Further more, another example is the hospital in Piraeus, that received a fine for obtaining 2 virtual tax assets adding up to 520,000 euro
