The newly appointed government spokeperson Sofia Voultepsi told private TV channel  ANT1 that “information is a sacred issue and I will serve it the way I have had all these years,”.

Asked about the troika of Greece’ lenders, Voultepsi said that “the IMF has it own way to express itself, it lives in its own economic world. It has no jurisdiction to interfere in Court rulings. We do not do whatever troika says” she stated.

Regarding the one-year anniversary from the closure of former National Broadcaster ERT, she said that “We have been through ERT issue before. My opinion is known. The public television is operating and will become better,”.
