The trial of far-right, ultranationalist Golden Dawn deputy Costas Barbaroussis has been adjourned to June 25. The postponement comes following a motion for the recusal of the examining magistrates and the prosecutor handling the Golden Dawn case that was filed yesterday by the party’s secretary general Nikos Mihaloliakos. The motion filed by Mr. Mihaloliakos, who is also held in custody, is against magistrates Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou as well as against the prosecutor. This move essentially “freezes” the investigation until the ruling of the judicial council.
