Riots in Argentina after the end of World Cup

22 people were injured and at least 40 were arrested

At least 22 people were injured and many people were arrested late last night when police tried to restrain a group of vandals who disturbed a peaceful rally celebrating Argentina’s performance despite its defeat.

12 police officers were also injured when they were trying to stop hundreds of fans from breaking ship windows in the city center, according to TN channel. At least 40 people were arrested.

In other areas of the capital of Argentina, there were many people who celebrated their team’s performance during the World Cup.
