12 hours. This is the time that Israel gave for ceasefire in Gaza. For 720 minutes, the long-suffering people in the city will not hear the explosions nor will fear rockets falling into their home or wherever they have found as temporary shelter. Sine eight Saturday morning until 8:00 p.m., will be able to “forget” and cry for the people they lost.

With the first light of the sun, since the ceasefire was put into effect, Palestinians looking under debris for their own people in the hope of a husband, wife, father, mother, and children who have lost track to be found alive. Dozens of corpses have been recovered. From morning until noon Saturday 85 people have been found dead in the rubble that Israeli missiles found their target, killing entire families and young children. What was once home to thousands of Palestinians has now turned into an amorphous mass of cement and corrupted dreams.

Based on the last count of Ministry of Health of Palestine since the 8^th of July, when the Israeli operation began, until now at least 985 people have lost their lives. The vast majority are civilians.

Solution to the tragedy is looking to find the international community. But nothing shows at the moment to change the situation. Just before sundown the sirens of war in Gaza are expected to ring again. With time being the enemy, the international meeting is conducted this time in Paris for the Middle East. U.S., Britain, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Qatar are looking for a way to stop the bloodshed, according to diplomatic sources.

In a press release the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the purpose of the meeting is “to try to reach a lasting ceasefire in Gaza”.

The French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said later that the foreign ministers participating in the international meeting on the Middle East held in Paris requested an extension of the 12-hour ceasefire,
