Greece: A country that offers much more than just beaches

Travel Consultant Jessica Piche shares three great reasons to visit Greece, besides the beaches

Newsroom July 27 12:15

In her feature article on Flightcentre.com, travel consultant Jessica Piche shares her experience on a coach tour and three great reasons to visit Greece, besides the beaches.

“Greece is known for its stunning beaches and islands. However, the lure of the ocean was not going to distract me,” Jessica says, stating her determination to truly get a feel for more than just beaches.

“Greece offers stories of old, fantastic archaeological sites, and breathtaking views,” the travel consultant adds. This is why she decided to leave the beaches for a while and visit three places that prove Greece is much more than golden sand and azure waters.

1.The Majestic Kalambaca/Meteora
This area is amazing with 6 monasteries perched on cliffs overlooking some fantastic landscape, says Piche.

2. Delphi: More Than Just a Museum
In this location you get to see the Museum, the Archaeological site, and the small hillside town.
