Gunness was talking to Al Jazeera TV about the Israeli attack on UN school in Gaza Strip that sheltered thousand of Palestinians causing the death of 17 people while he broke in tears not being able to hide his sorrow.
He is one of the envoys of the UN in Gaza who did a research at the scene to find out information about who was responsible for the attack.
“The rights of Palestinians, even their children, are wholesale denied and it’s appalling,” he said before being overcome with emotion:
