Main opposition Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) party lashed out on the government on Monday over the uniform real estate ownership tax (ENFIA).

In its statement, SYRIZA underlines that the payment reports sent to the citizens are “yet another clear proof of the barbaric and unjust tax policy of the government and also a proof of the unjust, inefficient and ineffective tax policy of New Democracy and PASOK.”

SYRIZA’s statement goes on to add that in any other country, the injustices, mistakes or omissions would cause officials to resign.

However, in our country, SYRIZA says, those who are politically liable still have…serious work ahead of them, with favorable regulations and amendments that serve vested interests.
