Legendary actress Lauren Bacall passed away on Tuesday, aged 89 years.

“With deep sadness, but great gratitude for her amazing life, we confirm the death of Lauren Bacall”.

Bacall, wife of also legendary American actor Humphrey Bogart, marked a whole generation in Hollywood’s golden era during the 40’s and the 50’s, as a fashion idol.

She was married to Humphrey Bogart from the mid 1940s until his death in 1957, and they had two children.

As reported by TMZ website, the famous actress suffered a stroke.

Lauren Bacall was described as one of the top 20 actors of all time.
