Famous Hollywood actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally married, a spokesperson for the glamorous couple has confirmed.

The couple exchanged vows in France on Saturday, before traveling to Malta to start shooting By the Sea, a film written and directed by Jolie and starring partner Brad Pitt.

It should be noted that this will be the first time Pitt and Jolie have appeared onscreen together since 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith. They couple met on the set of Doug Linman’s successful film, became engaged in 2012 and have six children together.

In May 38-year-old Angelina Jolie revealed in an interview that she and Pitt were discussing about their future marriage with their children.

“We are discussing it with the children and how they imagine it might be. Which is verging on hysterical, how kids envision a wedding,’ Jolie said. ‘They will in a way be the wedding planners. It’s going to be Disney or paintball – one or the other!’

This is the second marriage for Pitt, aged 50, who was with first wife Jennifer Aniston for five years, and the third for Jolie, 39, who was previously married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
