A new airstrike occurred early in the morning in Tyre, Lebanon, with the Israeli Air Force targeting a building in the area, which was completely destroyed.

According to initial reports, one person lost their life, while five others were injured.

As seen in images shared by the protothema.gr correspondent, Marinos Aleiferis, from the red zone in Lebanon, the area resembles a bombed-out landscape, with debris covering a large radius around the explosion site.

Personal belongings are scattered across the streets, while thousands of people have left their homes seeking shelter due to the ongoing hostilities in the area.

The powerful shockwave from the explosion caused extensive damage, with walls collapsing and large parts of the building being hurled into the parking lot.

Significant material damage was also suffered by the apartment building across the street, highlighting the intensity of the attack.

Evacuation message

Meanwhile, an IDF spokesperson announced that an evacuation order has been issued to residents south of the Zahrani River, urging them to move toward Beirut for safety reasons.

The message sent by the Israeli army states:

*”Urgent! Immediate warning to residents of southern Lebanon located south of the Zahrani River.
