The infrastructure, transport and networks ministry on Friday lashed out at main opposition SYRIZA party, accusing it of being “incomprehensibly hostile” towards the Organization of Urban Transportation of Thessaloniki (OASTH).

It should be noted that the ministry’s statements were made in response to a SYRIZA announcement on September 4, that characterized the organization’s operation as a “lasting scandal”.

The ministry underlined that SYRIZA’s hostility toward OASTH, its employees and the people of Thessaloniki is incomprehensible and claimed that the main opposition uses false figures, in an attempt to downgrade the successful agreement that was reached for the benefit of passengers and the state budget.
