Former Marathon mayor Iordanis Louizos replied to the complaint of a municipal employee in Marathon. The employee stated that all hard drives of computers of the municipal buildings were removed one day prior to Mr. Elias Psinakis’ swearing in as new mayor. Mr. Louizos refers to “slander without reason” and notes that “if one euro of public funds is missing from the municipality of Marathon then anyone can hold me accountable”.

Yet, among others, he emphasized that he does not care of information that states that the new Mayoral Authority will not be suing anyone.

Mayor Elias Psinakis will not make any statement until the completion of the screening that government agencies and supervisory authorities are making in the municipality.
