More than 200 guests were invited yesterday evening at the Yacht Club of Greece to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of former King Constantine and his wife Anne-Marie.

Many businessmen, politicians and other royal families from around the world attended the event. Among the guests were Greek businessman Vardis Vardinogiannis with his wife Marianna, Minos Kyriakou and his wife Marie, the famous criminal lawyer Alexandros Lykourezos with his wife Zoe Laskari, Greek politician Dora Bakoyannis and her husband Isidoros Kouvelis and many shipowners and businessmen.

Former King Constantine and Anne-Marie gave a speech and talked about their 50 years of marriage. Anne-Maria addressed mainly to young people and her grandchildren and revealed the secrets of a successful marriage.

They also showed some photographs and video of them over the past years, while some of their children gave a speech, too.

Former King Constantine and his wife Anne-Marie had also held a private dinner at the restaurant of the Acropolis Museum for their family and some of their friends. (Read more here).
