The Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Mr. Yiannis Maniatis, appointed the new members of the Greek Board of Managing Directors of Hydrocarbons (EDEYA SA), which according to law will administer the rights of government to search, as well as the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons.

At the same time will organize competitions for contracts on exploration and exploitation, then will evaluate the applications and grant licenses for the search of hydrocarbons.

The names of the five members to manage the Greek oils that Mr. Maniatis appointed are: The geologist Mr. L. Georgalas, the chemical engineer Mr. S. Xenopoulos, the lawyer Ms A. Sdoukou, another geologist Mr. A. Schetakis, and the political scientist Ms A. Tzika.
