Tsipras: Elections promptly – We are virtually touching empowerment

SYRIZA leader predicts elections even in October - He asked of the party members to be ready for elections

Newsroom September 30 09:35

Mr. Alexis Tsipras, leader of SYRIZA indicated to the Political Secretariat of the party, early elections even during October or in any case, in direct space of time.
He characteristically spoke of “elections in a short period of time, with the relevant announcements to be made even before the stress tests and the final evaluations of Troika in October”.
He even asked of the party members to be ready for elections.
Further he stated that ‘SYRIZA is virtually touching empowerment”, which according to Mr. Tsipras is a result due to the successful summer campaign and TIF (Thessaloniki International Fair).
While referred to debt issue, he highlighted that SYRIZA is clear and further referred to his speech at the 79th Thessaloniki International Fair and to the triptych “delete most of the nominal value of debt – clause in development – convenience of the moratorium.”
Finally, Mr. Alexis Tsipras stressed that: ” Elections are reinforced by open conflicts of the government and its constituent parties, the spasmodic parochologia, but also the unusual statements by the government’s representative, that elections are not at issue and that everything is propaganda by SYRIZA”.
