David Hill, head of the International Committee for the Reunification of the Parthenon Marbles, said that Greece should claim these through court. Mr. Hill told the Greek-Australian newspaper Neos Kosmos that he had mediated to send three experienced lawyers, including Amal Alamuddin, to Greece so that they could advise the Greek side of their legal options concerning the marbles.
The name of Ms. Alamuddin is the most mentioned in regards to the legal experts’ arrival to Greece, however the other two experts are at the top of their fields. Geoffrey Robertson QC, Alamuddin’t boss in Doughty Street Chambers in London, and Norman Palmer QC, have a great deal of expertise in International Law and cultural heritage ownership.
