The text is signed by ex MPs and many members of today’s central committee, as well as secretaries and members of prefectural and local organizations, local government officials, trade union and social strains.

The text characteristically mentions that:  “We require a meeting in order to make decisions on policy change, so we can make a comeback and reach out to society. A meeting in which we will table our own national progressive plan for making our way out of crisis, against the barren and conservative plan that New Democracy imposes, as well as any irresponsible populism suggested of any other parties”.

The intervention of the 4.000 is mainly of Papandreou supporters.
