According to an announcement, the World Health Organization is likely soon to declare the end of the Ebola Epidemic in Senegal and Nigeria, if no new cases occur in the coming days.
if all goes well, the official announcement will be made after confirmation that there was no new case in these countries after the maximum 42 day incubation period of Ebola.

More specifically the announcement states that: ” If the implemented controls continue for detecting new cases and they are none to be found” then, the World Health Organization will declare the end of the epidemic in Senegal on Friday the 17th of October and the same for Nigeria on the 20th.
