Avghi newspaper attacks Potami party leader Stavros Theodorakis

The article bears the title “The brave of Stavros Brancaleone” and more or less characterizes him as a crank

Newsroom October 18 05:31

A new journalistic attack against Stavros Theodorakis, leader of the “Potami” party was published today by “Avghi” newspaper, which was republished in the semi-official SYRIZA website www.stokokkino.gr. This new installment in the enmity between the two parties unfurled with George Andranistakis’ latest article. Mr. Andranistakis is considered the writer which speaks on behalf of the party’s leadership and has many a time taken a position defending SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras against any and all political adversaries or persons of interest.

The article bears the title “The brave of Stavros Brancaleone” and more or less characterizes him as a crank, a man full of himself”.

The clash between the two sides was reignited recently after the cancellation of the meeting between Mr. Stavros Theodorakis and Mr. Alexis Tsipras. The comments and statements which followed were “poisonous” at best even if both parties consider a possible alliance in order to form a government in the future, still possible.
